Is this a cult?
Why haven't I ever heard of this before?
Of course we are going to say NO, we are NOT a cult! And we can prove it!
There are many things that are unique and different about us that you will not find in the majority of other churches or ministries. None of these would constitute any sort of biblical heresy or cult. For example you may find that:
There are many things that are unique and different about us that you will not find in the majority of other churches or ministries. None of these would constitute any sort of biblical heresy or cult. For example you may find that:
- We use the Bible as a final authority not scholarship or history or traditions.
- We do not keep score, take attendance, or maintain church directories.
- We do not invite Santa Claus to church in December.
- We do more teaching and preaching than singing.
- We do not preach tithing (even for tax-deductions).
Video title: Are you in a cult?
Here are a few things that MOST churches will never, ever teach you. EVER!
No doubt there are more churches in your community than banks and beauty salons combined. Nearly every corner has a church on it.
You would think that you could hear anything you wanted from such a doctrinal variety. Yet there are quite a few things that most churches will NOT teach you. It is extremely rare to find a church that will teach that Jesus did NOT preach to the Gentiles while he walked the earth. (Matthew 15:24) But since that IS the case, where do you fit in with this news? You would faster find a message in a bottle on the beach than you would find a church that will teach you that it would be wrong to tithe today.

Instead of explaining the liberty that you have in Christ, they would much rather shackle you with the threat of the Mosaic Law (which consists of 613 laws - not just 10!) when it comes to your wallet. (2 Corinthians 9:7)
Neither will you find any pastor worth his salt teaching you to circumcise your male children on the eighth day of their birth. Yet all of them will obligate you to be baptized before you are a member of the church. (Colossians 2:11-12) Weren’t they both Jewish customs? (Exodus 29:4) And - don’t you know that you cannot GO to church, because you are the church? The church is always people never brick and mortar. (1 Corinthians 3:16) Yet you won’t find pastors telling you that you can have God’s grace in your car just as easy as you can from the altar. You can! Not in a hundred years will you hear the truth about Christmas, Easter, and Lupercalia (the ancient festival full of whippings and ritual sacrifice). (Acts 12:4) You may have NEVER heard in a traditional church that Peter tried to prevent the crucifixion. (Matthew 16:22) Well, he did! Did you know that Jesus has appeared multiple times since his ascension? (Acts 9:3; Acts 26:16 – No we are not Mormons!) |
These are just a few of the things that are NOT being taught in churches all across the land and worldwide! If you are in one of those churches, then perhaps, rather most likely, you are NOT getting the whole truth.
Talk to your pastor about the things you read on this website and start talking about some of the things that you are NOT being told from the Bible. You'll be amazed at the answers you'll get.
Perhaps you need to find an assembly of believers which understands Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery.

You have found such believers at BBBC Madison!
We are it!
We are it!
Have you NOT heard of the dispensation of Grace or the preaching of Jesus Christ
according to the revelation of the mystery?
(Romans 16:25, Ephesians 3:1-2)
according to the revelation of the mystery?
(Romans 16:25, Ephesians 3:1-2)
Romans 16:25
“Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,”
Ephesians 3:12
1 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

All of these things are a little out of the norm of mainstream ministries. This is because our focus is purely on seeing souls saved and saints edified through God’s Word (Romans 10:17).
We take pleasure in studying the Scripture and are motivated to study to show ourselves approved unto God (2 Timothy 2:15).
We teach Mid-Acts Pauline Dispensational Right Division.
In Acts 24:14-15, Paul was accused of teaching heresy. He responded by saying that the accusations against him were unsupported, but the way they call heresy is what Paul was preaching from the Word of God.
As Paul did, we teach that we are saved by grace through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). The Bible says that Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, was made sin for us and that he paid our sin debt on the cross (2 Cor 5:21, 1 Tim 3:16, Romans 3:25). It is only through this faith in Christ that we obtain eternal life.
Many people today do not know what they believe and so fall into the trap of accepting whatever is the status quo. Just as in Paul’s day the status quo is often in opposition to Biblical truth. We use the Bible as our final authority instead of church tradition or pop philosophy.
If you would like to better understand God’s Word then stick around. If you think we are teaching heresy then send us your comments, we do not want to teach unsound doctrine any more than the next guy.
We do not promote heresy, but instead would encourage everyone to be fully persuaded in his own mind (Romans 14:5). Finding your own belief through a careful study of Scripture is what we would promote. Hopefully, Grace Ambassadors will help facilitate your learning through sound Biblical teaching.
